Known for her healthy-hair expertise and signature styling techniques, Micha has spent more than 15 years mastering her craft and mentoring stylists nationwide.
Her elite clientele includes Halle Berry, H.E.R., Raven-Symoné, LeToya Luckett, Erica Campbell, Estelle, and Cynthia Bailey among other influential artists. Micha’s work has appeared on The Real, Good Day LA, Love Island, BET Awards, Stellar Awards, and in Essence, Nylon, Vogue, as well as on Disney, Mahogany, Apple Music, and more.
After launching her Los Angeles salon, Press and Curl Bar, and surpassing $1M in early revenue, Micha discovered a deeper need within the beauty community. Stylists were not struggling with talent; they were struggling with marketing, visibility, business structure, and client retention.
Now based in New York City, Micha created The Press and Curl Bar Way to fill that gap. The platform offers stylists:

The Featured Stylist Membership gives you full access to The Press and Curl Bar Way platform, a premium marketing and client-building system created to help stylists grow strong, sustainable, healthy-hair-driven businesses. Membership includes visibility on Micha’s vetted stylist directory, monthly marketing tools, client attraction strategies, business education, and support designed to elevate both your brand and your income. This program is built for stylists who want to expand their clientele, strengthen their digital presence, and align with a trusted, nationally recognized healthy-hair philosophy.

MEMBERSHIP TERMS / CANCELLATION POLICY
Members may cancel their membership at any time. All payments already processed are non-refundable. Monthly memberships will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Annual memberships are non-refundable and will remain active for the full year, but members may cancel to prevent future renewal. Upon cancellation, access to membership materials, directory listings, resources, and community benefits will end at the conclusion of the current billing cycle.
BILLING DETAILS
Your membership will automatically renew each billing cycle unless canceled. Charges will appear under the payment processor connected to your account, such as Stripe or PayPal. Members are responsible for ensuring their payment method remains up to date to avoid interruptions in service.
REQUIREMENTS FOR BECOMING A FEATURED STYLIST
• Must hold an active cosmetology license
• Must specialize in textured hair care and healthy-hair practices
• Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and high client service standards
• Must align with The Press and Curl Bar Way philosophy and stylist guidelines
• Must complete the onboarding or vetting process before being listed
• Must maintain updated images, service descriptions, and booking links
• Must commit to ongoing education and a healthy-hair-centered approach

You may cancel your membership at any time through your account dashboard. Once canceled, your membership will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. No refunds are provided for payments already processed.

Once your application is accepted and onboarding is complete, your stylist profile will be added within 3 to 5 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your listing is live.

At this time, the Featured Stylist Directory is focused on serving clients in the Los Angeles area. However, stylists outside of Los Angeles may still join the membership for education, marketing tools, and business support. Additional regions may be added in the future.

The Press and Curl Bar Way teaches foundational healthy-hair principles, scalp care routines, technical styling techniques, and guidance on creating long-lasting silk presses and protective styles aligned with Micha’s signature approach.

The Featured Stylist Directory increases your visibility and positions you as a vetted stylist in the Los Angeles area. While specific results vary, many stylists experience increased inquiries and new bookings due to added exposure.

Yes. You can switch to the annual plan at any time and receive the discounted rate. The new billing cycle will begin once your current monthly cycle ends.

You will receive an email prompt to update your payment information. If payment is not updated within the provided grace period, your membership access and stylist listing may be paused until billing is resolved.

Membership payments are non-refundable. However, you may cancel at any time to prevent future charges.
